The small town of Palm Harbor is located between the gulf coast with its miles of beautiful beaches, and the city attractions in Tampa. Palm Harbor is where you’ll find the Copperhead course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. This is where the PGA TOUR’s Valspar Championship is played (March 6-12, 2017) and it’s located right across from Lake and Bay RV Resort. If biking (or walking or skating) is your thing, then check out the Pinellas Trail, which winds its way through Palm Harbor. Lake Tarpon is right behind our resort (a walking trail to the lake is coming soon!) and just up the street is Anderson Park, a public park for fishing, boating, or enjoying trails and picnics.
Just a few miles away is the quiet town of Tarpon Springs, a community with a rich Greek heritage. In the late 1800s, settlers founded this city as a sponge fishing center. You can still shop for these unique, natural sponges in shops along the winding streets of Tarpon Springs’ quaint downtown.
At Lake and Bay RV Resort you can enjoy a BBQ at your own campsite, swim in the pool, or bird watch from various spots within the camp. A walking trail to Lake Tarpon is coming soon!
